1978 Fender Telecaster

This is the second Telecaster I've owned.  According to one of the Fender books I have, for this year the color is wine red.  You can barely see the wood beneath the finish.  Plays like butter.  This of course would only make sense if I knew what butter played like.

1979 Fender Anniversary Stratocaster

Kind of an odd duck.  This guitar probably started off being white.  Then Fender recalled them because the finish started checking right away.  So... they recalled 'em and painted them silver.  Anyway, that's what I have read about these '79 anniversary strats.  Anyway, this mofo is Gold.  What makes me think it hasn't been refinished is that the anniversary logo (found on the top horn) is intact.  So what the hell is this?  If anyone knows, please e-mail me.  Oh yeah, it plays extremely well and currently has .09 gauge strings on it.

1981 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe

Bought this from the fine fellows at Hoboken Vintage.  Mini humbucker pickups that scream through the Marshall.  Not too heavy and has a nice neck.  This is the 2nd Les Paul Deluxe I've owned.

1987 Gibson Les Paul Standard

100% Original as far as I know.  Not too heavy and sounds sexy.  Anyway, this is the 3rd '87 Les Paul Standard I've owned.  I'm not sure what it is about that year but I recently played an '86 and it wasn't the same.  The new ones aren't so cool either.  Oh well.  A lovely addition to the family.  .10 gauge strings on this.

1984 Gibson ES-335 (white)

It’s all factory stock except for the Grover tuners.  I took the pick guard off and broke one of the tone knobs off.  This is my favorite guitar.  I use .10 gauge D’Addario strings(environmental pack).

1967 Fender Jaguar, all original

Completely original and in new condition.  Unlike most all original vintage axes, this one plays very well.  It has a smooth neck and I use it for almost all of my clean guitar sounds.  Shane played it on Hardly Cop, Hardly Human.  I use .09 gauge D’Addario strings for this guitar because of its thin neck.

1981 Gibson SG with the original black finish removed (natural)

I’ve bought and sold many guitars over the years.  This one has always been with me.  It has a beautiful neck.  The neck isn’t too heavy like a lot of SG’s I’ve played.  I use this one for most of my distorted guitar sounds.  This guitar sounds awesome through my Marshall.  It has .10 gauge D’Addario strings.
